As elopement photographers in Spain, Italy, Malta, Greece and all of Europe, we get to witness so many love stories, and this one happened to be a stunning one. We met Britt & Gio at their hotel, right in the city center, next to the historic Basílica de la Encarnación de Málaga. It was such a beautiful start—documenting these two getting ready to head out into the streets.

We really wanted to capture some busy city vibes as well as the absolutely stunning scenery in the hills of Nerja. This was such a perfect balance between the vibrant city energy and the calmness of the sea and mountains. As elopement photographers, we always ask our couples about their dream day, and Britt and Gio told us they absolutely love the burgers from The Good Burger—so that’s exactly where we headed.

After roaming around the city, grabbing some fino, burgers, and beers, we returned to the hotel for a little outfit change. We had rented a convertible to take us up the coast, heading east along Costa del Sol. The car ride was such a breeze—our couple in the back seat, beers in hand, flying past the stunning scenery.

We had picked a breathtaking viewpoint along the way to the elopement vow-reading stop. The sea was glimmering in turquoise blue, and the sun was warming our cheeks. It had already been an amazing day, and now we finally got to share our secret spot for the vows—we were so excited! After finishing our beers, we took a short walk up to our hidden location, and it did not disappoint!

The vow reading was absolutely breathtaking. Capturing our beautiful couple standing on the edge of a cliff, reciting their wedding vows, was truly stunning. After the emotional vows, we took a tiny break and enjoyed a glass of wine together while soaking in the views. Then it was time for our last stop—the beach at sunset. Britt and Gio ended the day with a little dip in the water, which was just magical. We think this was the dream day for our couple, but it sure was a dream day for us too! We enjoyed documenting this elopement so much and hanging out with these two for the whole day was so much fun!
