She said yes!! // Engagement session in Cortona, Tuscany
Proposal in the middle of the Italian countryside
and the best part about being a documentary style photographer!
This is such an amazing story that I have to share it with you. We were in a wine tasting and we met the sweetest couple and all of a sudden we were planning a little couples photoshoot for them for the next morning. We got so lucky we met this lovely couple and were so excited to plan the documentary style photography session in the beautiful Tuscany countryside for them. The next day we took some drone footage before the session, just give a couple of extra photos to our couple as holiday memories from their trip to the cutest town called Cortona.
As a documentary style photographer I usually find a couple of locations and then we just go where the moment takes us. We stared our photoshoot in the center or Cortona and then quickly moved to the quiet and romantic side streets of this lil Tuscany town. I often like to surprise my couples with a little film photography so I took a couple of my 35mm film camera to the photoshoot and I can not wait to get the photos developed and give them to these two! We went on with our slow morning italian photoshoot and oh gosh the photos are like from a movie, I can not wait to share them all! But just after the side streets I asked if the couple has any favourite spots and Nadav said, he knows a hill in the back of the town with a great view so we headed that way.
Little did we know that he had something hidden in his jacket pocket. We got to the hill having conversations about our trips and we found the most perfect photo location for these two. I took a couple of photos with my film camera and then Nadav asked if we could take a photo with his phone as well. While the girlfriend Amit was admiring the views he ran back and bent down on one knee. Needless to say after these photos she said yes! ✨
I was speechless holding my tears behind the camera and it was just on of the most beautiful moments to photograph. None of us had no idea and I do have to say that this must be the dream of a photographer with a storytelling take on capturing the moments. It was all so real, authentic and so beautiful. I can’t even describe how happy I was for both of them!💖
