Wedding in the countryside of Tuscany // Montalcino, Italy

Getting to capture these two was such a dream day. From start to finish their Tuscany wedding was magical. The speeches were so beautiful and looking at them tear up surrounded by their lovely friends and family was so special. We started the morning getting capturing the bride and groom getting ready for their special day. The scenery and the villa inside was like a movie scene. With the documentary style wedding photography I really could capture all the little details and explore the beautiful rooms of the villa with the couple.

The ceremony space was located in the shady corner in the back of the venue. It was such an emotional small little ceremony that took place in Montalcino. I loved seeing all the family and friends travelling from Scotland and England to celebrate the couple. The rest of the day went by so fast listening to the heartfelt speeches, eating absolutely delicious food and capturing all the little moments in between. For the sunset we ran across the field to capture the sun just before it disappeared in to the horizon. I knew the couple loved playing so I brought a deck of cards with me, showed to them and they had a little game on the yard in the sunset. I am so in love with the photos that we created!
