Story time, how I took wedding photos for strangers in Scotland!

I was just finishing a photoshoot in Glasgow Green and noticed this couple by the fountain. I always pay attention to how couples interact with each other and really this couple just grabbed my attention. They were so genuinely happy and just looking at each other and laughing and smiling. I noticed their friend was taking their photos with a phone. I had just finished a shoot and was standing there with a camera in my hand. Me and Aroha just had to ask them if they wanted take a couple of photos with me to capture the moment. They were the sweetest couple and we got to document them just after they got married at the spot where they met each other for the first time🥹 what were the chances that we were all there and I happened to have my camera in my hand!

I just love stories like this and just love capturing these kind of special moments with documentary style photography and I know it meant so much for them just to have a couple of photos from their special day. I love capturing love stories and moments like this but I also like love the way it makes people feel when you don’t expect anything and then someone gives you something you didn’t know was possible! Life is full of candid moments, you just have to capture them! Congrats Laura and Ed🫶🏻✨
